Wolf Ridge |

This circuit course is about 10 miles in total distance. We rode this course on one of the best fall days. The temperature was a perfect 60F and clear skies. The first half of the ride, we rode up Sand Spring Mountain trail. This trail is a fireroad that is steep and rocky. While it is steep, it is forgiving with little plateau's along the way to give you a break here and there. Once reaching the trail junction with Wolf Ridge you will go left. This is the start of a great descent! Starts off steep and tight then turning along Wolf Ridge. This ridge run is fun with a few minor hill climbs. As you go along you should glance over your right shoulder and view where you just ascended. Upon coming off the Ridge you begin a serious descent. Rocky and technical are the best words for it. A couple of trees down here and there along with the loose rocks make for an exciting descent. Finishing up with a little road ride, you are done. Difficulty: Expert |
