Sue George has been
a big force in Viriginia Mountain Biking. We had a hard time deciding
where to place her interview. She has accomplished just that much! So
since she has been racing since 1982, Racing it is.....

6. What has been your best event(s)?
Long ago, individual

PA.
I remember telling a college friend back in college that he was crazy
for
trying to ride something that long (note: he did it in road shoes and
pedals on a mt. bike), but here I am doing it myself now. I guess I am
eating my words.
7. What has been your worst event(s)?
Junior Pan Am Games
in 1993. We were all so ready to get out of there after
a very miserable week in Cuba that we actually believed the gate attendant
who said there were not enough seats for everyone, and we all sprinted
across the tarmac to the plane to make sure we got a seat. None of us
wanted to be left behind.
8. What interests do you have outside of Mountain Biking?(crazy
question)

Yoga, Swimming, Hiking,
Backpacking, Reading

Too much time in front of the computer!
Thanks for your time,
Sue!!!
