The
Pacific Northwest has always been a great escape for me since the mid 90's.
With the coming of my second retirement, I found another opportune time to get
back!
Arriving in Seattle, the brewery scene was just where I left it. Pike St Brewery,
Hale's, Redhook, etc... were all still serving great beer. The weather could
not have been better with sunny skies and cool temps (very unSeattle, right).
Then cruising onto Vancouver for more breweries and parks. Yaletown still offering
some tasty brews.
And for the main event... Whistler! Crankworx was in full steam ahead mode.
Every manufacture, I could care to talk to was in attendance. Talked to the
Rocky Mountain guys and they showed me the new ALTITUDE, which is replacing
the ETX-S. Good guys with great ideas for mountain bikes!
